Course Objectives

  1. Overview of Cisco FirePOWER Next-Generation IPS (NGIPS) solution

  2. Describe how to deploy and manage Cisco FirePower device

  3. Describe the various detection technologies used in the FirePOWER (NGIPS) solution

  4. Navigate the user interface and administrative features of the FireSIGHT Management Center, including reporting functionality to properly assess threats

  5. Use Access Control, File Policies, and Intrusion Policies to control traffic within a network

  6. Analyze files to determine their level of threat and trajectory within a network

  7. Implement PoC environment
